We recently hired two candidates for entry level positions and are now hiring for a:

Sr. Staff Geologist/Environmental Scientist

An Opportunity to Heal the Environment: Branch out with your career in environmental sciences, particularly in the field of ground and water remediation, we offer a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the environment. We focus on the investigation, cleanup, and redevelopment of contaminated properties, ensuring that soil and water resources are restored to safe and usable conditions – then sustained with regular monitoring as required by NJDEP.

Field Experience, Educational Background and Skills: Current field experience in NJ and HAZWOPER certification, coupled with your strong educational background in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Geochemistry, or a related field is essential. Key skills include attention to detail, analytical and judgment capabilities, strong communication and report writing skills, and eagerness to continue working in and learn about the environmental consulting industry.  Safety mindset in the field is a must!

Professional Opportunities: Mid-level positions, such as a Sr. Staff Geologist or Sr. Staff Environmental Scientist, often involve oversight and field documentation during soil borings, monitoring well installation, and other environmental field activities. Responsibilities also include soil, surface water, groundwater, and air quality sampling, as well as analytical data management, including validation, evaluation, and interpretation. Support mid- and senior-level professionals in writing technical reports summarizing the results of environmental investigation, cleanup, and redevelopment projects – a key part of the role.

Training and Development: Training and professional skill development are provided for various aspects of these positions, based on the selected candidate’s experience. Additionally, 40-Hour OSHA Health and Safety Training is required.
