Sr. Project Manager/LSRP
We are seeking a candidate with 10-15+ years of experience in environmental investigation and soil and groundwater remediation. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills for both client-facing and teamwork environments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee investigation and remediation projects as the LSRP of Record
- Prepare Remedial Action Outcome (RAO) decisions
- Plan, direct, and manage implementation of field investigation and remediation projects
- Manage and mentor junior staff members
- Write/review technical reports for regulatory agencies, prepare proposals and scopes of work, and prepare cost estimates
- Evaluate environmental data produced from investigations and develop cleanup solutions
Qualifications Required:
- B.S. degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field
- New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP)
- 10-15+ years of professional environmental experience
- Strong technical and project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and annual refreshers
- Strong working knowledge of NJDEP technical regulations, technical guidance documents, and administrative requirements
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities

Project Geologist/Scientist
Excel Environmental Resources, Inc. (EXCEL), is seeking a project-level Geologist or Environmental Scientist with a minimum of two years of experience to join our team and provide technical support on a wide range of investigation and remediation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of PA/SI/RI
- Management and review of due diligence projects
- Soil and groundwater sampling
- Air sampling
- Monitoring well installation
- Construction/remediation oversight
- Data management and evaluation
- Preparation of technical reports
- Preparation of proposals and work plans
Qualifications Required:
- B.S. degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Field experience including soil/groundwater/air sampling
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training
- Knowledge of NJDEP field sampling procedures and technical regulations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
- Experience in preparing field documentation, project specifications, and reports
- Strong communication and technical report-writing skills

Administrative/Accounting Assistant
We are looking for a conscientious self-starter to provide administrative support to our office. This person will assist with routine Accounting functions including, but not limited to, Quickbooks data input. Duties also include front-office duties and project-related admin work. Key to this role is projecting a professional company image for Excel through in-person and phone-based interaction with employees, clients, and partners.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls and transfers them to the appropriate staff member.
- Meet and greet in-person clients and visitors.
- Open and distribute mail
- Quickbooks data entry, assistance with report generation, and invoice preparation
- Create and modify documents (transmittals, letters, memos, reports, tables, etc.) using Word,
or Excel. Ensuring that you spell-check and proofread your own work. - Perform general support duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, binding documents,
faxing, mailing, and filing. - Maintain and update Archive project files on a routine basis.
- Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.
- Initiate, sign for, and distribute courier dispatches (UPS/Fed Ex).
- Research, compare, procure and maintain office supplies (general, printer, fax, copier, mail, and kitchen).
- Set up and coordinate meetings and Excel’s attendance and/or participation in conferences.
- Maintain and distribute weekly staff schedules.
- Support staff in assigned project-based work.
- Coordinate all service and repairs for Excel’s office equipment.
- Maintain conference room, supply cabinets, and other common areas of the office.
Qualification Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks Premier, and Phone Etiquette
- Experience with tracking and responding to Municipal/County/State RFPs/RFQs a plus
- Experience with Constant Contact and/or LinkedIn a plus
- Associates Degree in Business and/or Accounting or Vocational College preferred
